About us

MAC is a national Canadian grassroots organization that serves the growing religious, social and educational needs of Muslims in Canada.  MAC’s vision and mission is to establish an Islamic presence in Canada that is balanced, constructive and integrated, though distinct, within the social fabric and culture of Canada.

Currently MAC has chapters across the nation in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Windsor, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

MAC upholds a balanced view of Islam that is deeply rooted in traditional sources yet dynamic in its dealing with the current Canadian context. We believe that Islam is a balanced and comprehensive way of life that is far away from extreme interpretations.  We strive to serve our fellow Canadians through volunteering. We are driven by our belief that community service and spirituality are inseparable.
